it's toshi #6: baths

hello everyone.
i thought i would draw a comic about my baths today. my neck is not that long, because i am a rabbit. but i can get a couple spots very clean.

i also have bad spiders in my house that look like this -
they are called brown recluses and are very poisonous to rabbits and humans and dogs too. does anyone know how to make them go outside? i would love it if you could tell me on my blog comments page. or if you like jenn you can tell her maybe.

thank you for reading, bye!

it's toshi #4: noses

good morning everyone! it is a hot day, and i don't like it.
i made this animation for you. it is not very good, but this is how my nose moves. please click on it to make it work. i don't know how to make it work on the blog, because i am a rabbit and i do not know very much about computers.

how is everyone? are you eating enough pellets and vegetables? they are good for you.

have a good day, toshi

it's toshi #3: nanas

hello everyone.
jenn seemed a little sad today. i hope it was not because i got excited about eating a nana chip (they are my favorite) and missed. what i tried to eat was not a nana, i think it was her finger.
i am eating dinner now so i will go. i love you all, thank you for reading.

it's toshi #2: dogs

hello everyone.

today i have been sleeping in my cage and eating pellets - it has been a good day. i drew this comic about charlie the dog in my house. i don't really understand it. it follows the people around and always sleeps by them. people are hot to sit next to, i like the cold tile.

thank you for reading my comic.

it's toshi #1: hello

hello everyone. jenn is busy today and tomorrow, so i will update the blog for the next couple of days.
if you don't know, my name is toshi, and i am a rabbit. i live in a cage in jenn's room that i decorated myself. i live with two other humans and a dog called charlie
.
i drew a picture of it so you can see.

i have read some of a blog called 'heypais' (you can google it) and i thought it would be okay to draw some comics about my life as a rabbit. maybe you'll like them.

this is a picture of me and of jenn too. thank you for reading!

noh - hannya no usagi

"Noh (?), or Nōgaku (能楽?) is a major form of classic Japanese musical drama that has been performed since the 14th century. Many characters are masked, with men playing both the male and female roles. The repertoire is normally limited to a specific set of historical plays. A Noh performance often lasts all day and consists of five Noh plays interspersed with shorter, humorous kyōgen pieces."

japanese theater is truly amazing! if you've never seen how they dress and perform, you should really check it out - you're in for some really inspirational stuff.

In other news, jenn's fierce battle against the spider population in her house has taken a bloody (hemolymph-y?) turn - i killed one in the yard today. i regret it, and fear retaliation.

commission info

I've always felt really (really) weird about asking for money for my stupid crappy doodles. But, since I have come upon hard times, and my rabbit is eating me out of house and home (he actually eats my money if i leave it out), i figure it wouldn't hurt to put myself out there and see if anyone would be crazy enough to buy a sketch or two.

So, here's the deal. I have the prices listed (i can be flexible), and examples of most of them above - either that I have done as commissions for other people, for contests, for fun. The examples are pretty old, I haven't done anything recently - so expect better quality work. If you have questions/are interested in helping me out, email, comment, call, text, send telepathic messages, whatever.

Pencil sketch (single character, no background) - $10
Pencil sketch (with background) - $20
Inked drawing (no bkgrd) - $25 (w/background, it depends ~ $35)
Digital coloured/inked drawing (photoshop) - $35
Acrylic painting (depending on size, subject, and canvas quality) - $20-$150
Felt stuffed animals (whatever you want!) - $10-$30 depending on size

Everything depends on size, subject, and time spent. I don't like drawing portraits of people - that would be a more expensive commission than something i enjoy doing. If i'm really into the idea, I have fun, and will get it done quicker (therefore cheaper! yay!). That said, I'm not sure anyone will go for this, but I WOULD REALLY LOVE YOU IF YOU DID!

^ cell/molec lecture notes, 9/8 (lol touchpad skills)
that class is just WONDERFUL!
(internet sarcasm)

HEY! long time, no update. Here's what's up!

Classes are manageable so far - life is good! Well, except for the fact that I'm BROKE! it really sucks, and I'm working on getting a second job (as well as a veterinary volunteer-ing thing). So we'll see if that works out. I don't have a whole lot to upload in the way of sketches, but what i do have i'll get to scanning tomorrow.

Is anyone still even watching this blog anymore? shout out if you are, just out of curiosity...

And finally, the shameless plug! As I said before, I am hopelessly broke, so I will be posting commission info after this update. I have no inspiration, AND no money, so your ideas will help me AND you (right? of course i am!)!
